Contract Disputes
At its most basic, a contract is an agreement or promise between two or more parties which may or may not be in writing. Contract language determines when such promises are enforceable. The promise seeking to be enforced may relate to one of multiple areas of law including real estate, employment, insurance, and the operation of a business. Opposing parties can disagree about the meaning of a contract or language contained within an agreement, and ultimately such a dispute can result in litigation.
At Nicodemo & Wilson, our litigation experience places us in a favorable position to work with individuals and businesses in relatively simple contract disputes as well as those which are far more complex. We work to resolve these disputes through whatever means are best suited to our clients’ particular objectives and circumstances, including negotiation, mediation and, if necessary, litigation.
